Valérie et Laurent m'ont chaleureusement accueillie et m'ont donné tous les bons conseils pour profiter de la région (activités culturelles, gastronomie...) Olly et Tess sont très gentilles, faciles à vivre. Lou m'a expliqué en détail le caractère et les habitudes de chacune. C'était un excellent moment pour moi. Un grand merci !

Valerie (Valou), her husband Laurent and daughter Lou, are a very friendly, easy going family. They made me feel really welcome from day 1. I speak very limited French but, there’s always an app to help… Valou welcomed me with a delicious local style meal which was a great start to the house/pet sit. The pets are Ollie, a very strong, large dog, who tries to take advantage and needs to be shown who is “leader of the pack”, after learning that he was fine with me - just watch out for squirrels though…..he doesn’t seem to like them too much. He takes a tablet in the evening, a tip - cut in in two, wrap it in a slice of sausage and it’s gone quickly! Tess is a very independent cat who spends most of the day outside, but comes in when the food bowl is shaken. She likes occasional cuddles, but is very much a mums girl, so don’t expect too much from her 😉. The are is very peaceful, although a cuckoo managed to wake me two or three times while I was there, that’s country life though! Just close the window, and it’s quiet.
