Hi! My name is Paola and my girlfriend's name is Julia. We are two Brazilian girls travelling around the world. Unfortunately, we can’t travel with a pet, but we love being in such lovely creatures' company, so we decided to join this community. We both work remotely for the Brazilian tech company. I`m working as a Marketing Analyst and Júlia is a Graphic Designer. We also love to know new people and new places.

About Paola
I had some pets at home and during my childhood and adolescence, I had a dog, two cockatiels, three fish, and some poultry (my father loves animals). I cared for them, giving them food, walking, showering, and much love. Besides having lived with these pets, I am always the person who stays at relatives' and friends' homes to take care of their pets and home when they decide to go on vacation. Also, I love to cook, watch series, travel, and as a hobby play the guitar.

I have always been passionate about animals, when I was tiny I had my first experience taking care of Kiki, my grandma bird. But when I was eight I had the complete experience of being a pet parent. His name was Junior, a tiny Yorkshire who was braver than a pit bull. but unfortunately, his bravery wasn't big enough to fight cancer when he was 11 years old. For two years I have taken care of him, and he had a strict routine, every day giving him medicines, cook his food, and taking him to the vet. I learned a lot taking care of Junior, and a huge love for animals grew inside me. Since then I still lick and cuddle with the pets of my friends and family (dogs, cats, a bird, a turtle named after me, and so on). I also sporadically receive at home some dogs that live in the neighbourhood who always stop by to receive some affection (and food, of course, hahaha). Besides, I love to take care of my plants, I love to read, play the bass and be with the people I love.

We would love to house and pet sit because first, we love animals and we miss having that daily connection with them. Second, we love to travel, and it would be amazing to be able to go to places we never thought we could go.

As pet parents, we understand that our pets are everything, so we would be happy to take them out for walks as many times a day as they need, feed them whenever they, and give them lots of love.

We will take care of them as if they were our own!
