BOTH MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN VACCINATED FOR COVID-19 AND ARE IN GOOD HEALTH.
My husband and I are New Zealanders living in Luxembourg. We wish to experience and contribute to other cultures. We are both physically fit and strong. We have owned, renovated and maintained historic houses, and, as an Arts Manager, I (Jodie) have directed and helped look after a residency centre for artists with a historic house and outbuildings on a large property with gardens. We have relocated from NZ to Europe for several years (having lived in France previously). As a senior curator and Director, I (Jodie) have also been responsible for the maintenance of Art Museum galleries and sometimes hands-on with building and exhibition management and maintenance. Now as a full-time writer working from home, I am available all year for the right house-sit. As a couple, we are available over the Christmas-New Year holiday period. We have traveled extensively and, as house sitters, have minded pets, including cats and dogs, and loved them during time spent with them. We are also experienced gardeners. We have references available. We speak French, so please do request information in French or communicate in French, if you prefer.

Jodie and Callan looked after our house, dog and two cats over Christmas and New Year from 2021 to 2022. They were great at keeping us informed of everything that was going on, they looked after our house, and most of all, our beloved animals, who were well cared for, loved and petted by the time we got back. I'd definitely recommend Jodie and Callan to come and look after your house and ours again too. When we returned, our home was immaculate, and while we were away, they kept up excellent communication and were very easy to get along with. We had lots of snow on our long driveway, and it wasn't a problem for them to shovel it out of the way. Nothing seemed to be complicated for them.

Jodie and Callan came to look after our house and our two American bulldogs over the Christmas period while we returned home to the uk for 2weeks. They are a lovely polite couple. They kept us informed with things around the house and of our dogs progress. When we returned they helped us get our cases into the house and told us of their experiences of their two weeks in our home. Callan was lovely and fixed our taps ? thank you. Both my dogs were very happy when we returned and I could see they had had had a great time with jodie and callan. Our house was very clean and tidy and they had stripped and washed the bedding on the morning of their departure. They were ideal house sitters I hope one day in future we may have the pleasure of them sitting for us again.

Jodie looked after our beagle Monty and bengal Neko for a period of two weeks. She was very thourough in ensuring she had all the information for the stay when we met the evening before my departure. After that she was very independent which is exactly what you want when you go on holiday. Jodie added photos to her FB page which I could look at when I missed them which was nice. Returning to a tidy home and happy pets is always reassuring. Thanks for everything Jodie, we hope to see you again.
