Introduction:
I am a youthful, active creative professional and work from my laptop as a graphic designer and a writer. I've traveled extensively and gained much wisdom and experience from doing so. I'm a dedicated animal lover and early riser, so caring for pets on my assignments comes naturally and brings me much joy.
I live a healthy, low-impact lifestyle with a yoga and meditation practice. Born and raised in East Anglia, United Kingdom, I studied at the Guildhall School of Music and the City University, London.
I am available to housesit in the city or the countryside and well adapted for both. I am experienced with farm animals and love the country life, but I am also at home in the city - Paris and Rome are two of my favorites, Montpellier is another. I never turn down an assignment that could work for both me and the homeowner.
I speak a little french and a little italian, and I am still learning. I think being in the country is the best way to learn.
Why I want to housesit:
I choose to housesit to make travel and property and animal caretaking a lifestyle, while allowing myself the privilege to work in wonderful settings around the world and inspire my creativity. Please note that I treat my assignments seriously and take the greatest care and respect for owners property.
As an animal lover, I've taken care of a variety of them over the years, including horses, dogs, cats, goats, chickens and even orphan rescue raccoons! Theo, a dear black lab mix, had an injured leg that needed constant care and attention. Tommy, a gelding Haflinger, had an ulcerated cornea that needed vet visits and eye drops four times a day - and the vet didn't speak English, so we communicated in my basic French.
What I bring to the assignment / relevant experience:
I have over 10 years experience in housesitting and animal care in the US and Europe, ranging from an apartment in the center of Rome to a farm in France. Most of my assignments have been through TrustedHousesitters.com where I have over thirty 5-star reviews, and some through Nomador.
I have impeccable references and a clean police record.

Rencontrer Navyo a été un plaisir, on sent qu'il a l'habitude d'être pet et house sitter et est très efficace, discret, organisé et prévenant. Nous avions des nouvelles et des photos de Lou pratiquement chaque jour, il a su sans problème lui donner ses médocs mélangés à la nourriture, la maison était impeccable à notre retour, les raps lavés, le lit prêt pour nous etc... Un véritable plaisir, je confirme moi aussi ce que disent tous les autres commentaires à propos de Navy : une perle ! Meeting Navyo was a pleasure, one feels that he is used to being pet and house sitter and is very efficient, discreet, organized and considerate. We had news and pictures of Lou practically every day, he knew without problem giving him his medicine mixed with food, the house was spotless on our return, the raps washed, the bed ready for us etc ... A real pleasure, I confirm also what other comments about Navy say: a pearl!

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié Navyo qui est très expérimenté et très soucieux des animaux. Il nous a donné régulièrement des nouvelles de nos chats et de notre chien Dunkee (qu'il a même soigné pour un petit souci de peau). Dunkee s'est beaucoup attaché à lui ainsi que nos deux chats. Tout s'est très bien passé et il a pris grand soin de notre maison. Je vous le recommande car il est très autonome, respectueux et convivial. Je ferai de nouveau appel à lui s'il est disponible. Merci encore à Navyo !

This was our very first experience of house-sitting, first time with Nomador, and first time we left our 1 year old dog for 3 weeks. And this has been a great experience!! Navyo has been the perfect candidate! Not only he is a very good dog-sitter, but also a very interesting person to meet and discuss with. He has so much to share. Our dog Marley is a lovely one but is young and restless. Navyo managed to handle him with lots of patience, taking him for 2 to 3 long walks per day. The communication has been very good with Navyo, before and during the house-sitting. He would send pictures and news very regularly and has always been easy to reach. Thanks to him, we spent 3 weeks of real vacations without any anxiety about our house and our dog. The cherry on the cake has been the home-made risotto Navyo had prepared for us when we came back :) We would definitely recommend Navyo for home and dog-sitting and would ourselves be very happy to have him home again.
