My host Vicky V. is a very open, communicative and friendly person. She prepared my stay very well. When I arrived the house was clean, all things I needed were at place and all handy information was written down including what to do in emergency cases. Her husband was introducing me to the house and the dog. Milka the dog is very friendly to people and other dogs. She loves walking a lot and playing with her favorite toy in the garden. She joins you on every trip but also will show you her favorite walks if you let her lead. The house is modern and light with a big garden which is easy to care for. As a house-sitter you get an own bedroom with a comfortable double bed and WiFi is accessible in the entire house. The surrounding is great for long walks. You can go down to the lake, walk in a nearby forest and visit Nyon as well as the pretty villages nearby with their farm shops offering fresh products. I also made short rides by car with Milka to the top of the mountains where we were hiking on routes with wonderful nature and great views. Although I almost didn’t have any personal contact to the hosts I feel that I am friends with them. We were staying in good contact before, during and after my stay. WhatsApp was the main medium to give feedback and exchange information during the house sitting period. I love to come back again to that destination!

We really enjoyed staying at Chris and Vicky's house which is situated in a lovely area by Lake Leman. In particular, Milka the dog was a pleasure to look after and we all loved the many long walks in the stunning countryside.
