47 years young (not old yet), single and free. I love nature, and animals; House and pet sitting experience as detailed below, references available.
I am a Gemini so I love to communicate, and I am planning to become qualified to teach English for an income whilst I travel. I am versatile and flexible in any given environment. I have lived by the beach, on a farm in the country, stayed in Switzerland for 3 months, lived and worked in the UK, France, and travelled to Italy, Germany, Holland, Scotland, Ireland, Bangkok and look forward to more travel.
I am excited to the cultural exchange and learning that comes from living in and exploring another country. I speak a little French, German and Italian. My conversation skills are limited, but as an internationally accredited and accomplished hypnotherapist, I discovered in France last year that I can hypnotise people in French to quit smoking, and who knows, Italian might be next! If you know anyone who wants to quit smoking I would be happy to work with them for some income too.
In the past I have cared for chooks, horses, ducks, cats, dogs, rabbits, fish and a donkey. Animal mindfulness is a study of interest for me, and you may be surprised to find I could possibly help you if your pet has difficulties.
My Kelpie (Red Dog, Aussie Cattle Sheepdog) was with me for 15 years, we had so much fun together, and the longer she was with me the more I fell in love with her, and it was a privillege to care for her in her old age and illness. So I know how precious these committments are, especially as I too own a home that I am trusting in the care of others; It would give me much joy to tend to the needs of your household and pets. I won't ever be as perfect as you in your animal's eyes, but I will try to be the next best thing!
For fun I am currently Rock & Roll dance. I have been dancing to my own beat all my life, but am now learning to "follow" someone else's dance routine.
My housesitting experience is as follows:
4 weeks Russett Park (Kuranda) Australia Dec 2018-Jan 2019 with cat and horse. Free roaming cattle, deer and peacocks. Experience includes management of two houses on approximately 100 acres hosting a crew for the filming of a mainstream tv commercial. (reference available)
5 weeks Lahitte Toupiere, France Jun-July 2018 with donkey, horse, cat and elderly dog.

Kirsty est très gentille et attentionnée. Elle s’est bien occupée de Ginko, notre gros chien. Nous avons récupéré l’appartement propre et rangé avec de petites surprises ???? Vous pouvez lui faire confiance les yeux fermés!

Kirsty looked after our house for two weeks while we were on holiday. She came all the way over from Australia as part of here 1 year trip to Europe. We were really happy to have Kirsty visit as we were confident should would look after our home and our animals. Each day she took our two dogs out for their daily walk and clearly become very close to both of them. She also sent us regular updates while we were away and when we returned home the house was spotlessly clean. Thank You Kirsty.
