Freelance writer and illustrator
I have always lived with dogs, cats and other small pets. At the age of 18 I started veterinary studies at college, later I changed to Media Communication, but I've always been pasionate about ethology and animal life. Nowadays, I volunteer with different shelters in Madrid as a foster home for rescue dogs or cats until they are ready to be adopted, so I have learned quite a lot about dog behavior and I've had the chance to share experiences with many different kind of dogs. Shelter animals usually have special needs to get to adapt, and they teach you to be patient and learn the best way to understand and communicate with them. I'm responsable and easygoing and most of all, I like to have fun and enjoy life, and boredom and loneliness affect pets as much as they affect us. Some of my hobbies are: travelling, walking, reading, writing and drawing. I work as a freelance writer and drawer, so maybe apart from taking care of your dog I might make a cool portrait of your best friend during the stay! I work as a writer at www.powerperro.com, where I share my experience and tell other stories about 'dog life'. I love to discover new places, and fortunatelly my current job allows me to do that, and I really love spending time with animals, so I think this way of travelling is just perfect.
