I'm a new empty nesting single mother to 2 young adult children. I'm a midwife (on sabbatical) and massage therapist as well as an adult educator. I love learning and teaching and traveling! I had kept a clean and well maintained home and veggie garden all of my adult life. I'm handy with minor repairs and pretty mechanical, thanks to my dad showing me the ways:) I've lived in several climates including the high deserts of New Mexico to the jungle of Costa Rica, and understand the challenges and opportunities that environment has on life and structures. I've loved and cared for lots of animals including dogs, cats, chickens and birds, rodents, goats, and reptiles. I've been pet sitting in many different countries since 2019. My work as a homebirth midwife has helped me be very comfortable (and respectful) in other people's homes.
My youngest daughter has a similar wanderlust to me and travels from Vietnam when she can. She may visit me if her schedule and home owners allow! She is an animal lover to the maximum and is making friends with more animals than people....at least according to her Instagram posts;)
