As a couple/duo
We are a couple in our mid 60’s. I am a contract administrator at an engineering consulting firm and Yvonne is retired. We do some travelling now that the children are grown but we would like to do more. We are new to house sitting and look forward to meeting people from different cultures and experiencing the way they live from day to day. We currently have a lovely 11 year old cat that is the apple of our eyes, and very spoiled, of course! (But he would not be coming with us!)
We know a little about gardening but are amateurs, so we can water and weed, but beyond that, our gardening skills are limited.
Yvonne can speak and read French a little bit, and the same for German and Spanish; not enough to carry on a conversation but she is attempting to learn more.

Lloyd and his wife Yvonne took good care of my apartment and looked after the cats. They communicated well and explored the surroundings from time to time.
