Hi, we're Steve and Jacquii from Australia. Our children have all left home so we decided it's the perfect time to go on a traveling adventure. We've been traveling and working as digital nomads since January 2023 and are loving it. To date we have completed more than 20 house/pet sits, primarily in Spain, Portugal, France and the UK. We decided to join Nomador for more sit opportunities in Europe.

We love seeing new places, meeting new people, hiking, cooking, spending time in nature, and tasting delicious food and wine! We work remotely 3 days per week and enjoy exploring and learning about different cultures and food/wine the rest of the time.
Our sweet cat Sega passed away in 2022 so we no longer have a pet of our own. But doing pet sitting allows us to love and care for other people’s pets while they are away. It’s a great win-win for us. We love all animals and enjoy being around them! We are active hikers and walkers so enjoy taking dogs for walks, throwing a ball or playing with pets and giving them cuddles. We are also very conscious of the fact that many of the pets we look after are rescue animals and have their own needs and sensitivities. We are good at watching for these cues and giving each pet the space or affection it wants.

We prefer house/pet sits of 14 days + as this gives us a chance to connect with the pets in our care and settle into the home/area. Because we work remotely, we do need reliable wifi.
