Hello! I am an American high school French and ESL teacher turned PhD student this year at the University of Connecticut. I study languages and teaching. I love animals, being in nature, meditation, biking, healthy living. I love visiting Canada (je parle français aussi), particularly Quebec, and am even a Permanent Resident :)
I have been lucky to have great house-sitters in my parents... this has allowed me to travel and live my best life during my school vacations, while my cats and dog are pampered and cared for by their grandparents. I have provided them the same for their 4 cats and dog (plus mine... it's always a full house!) when they go on vacation. My dog had a heart condition so I am experienced in giving oral medications, and my 18 year old cat has a thyroid gel that I put in her ear every day. Very familiar with senior animal concerns. Being new to Nomador, I hope that I can provide your pets with a calm presence and maintain their sense of routine. It's what I would want as a pet parent :)
