We're an Australian couple with a young daughter moving to France for 9 months for work and travel. Cat is pursuing a career in photography and busy mothering, Guy is doing his PhD on environmental sustainability in the wine industry. We both love travelling, meeting new people, experiencing local cultures (especially food!), and are hoping to show our daughter a love of the world.
We last travelled around France doing house-sitting through Nomador in 2015, and we were lucky enough to have lived in 4 lovely homes. While there we've looked after and made friends with the following pets (in order): 1) 2 gorgeous cats; 2) 4 large dogs, 3 cute cats and a lizard who didn't do much; 3) a sweet cat who likes to be the only one who gets affection; and 4) two lovely cats, one who liked to sleep in the bed with us. We have also previously house-sat for close family and friends (Cat has looked after two cats for 3 months). Cat also grew up with and trained Miniature Dachshunds and a cat, and looked after Rottweilers and German Shepherds; Guy is an avid nature-lover, so any pets will be well taken care of. As for your place, Guy is a keen tidier and housekeeper, so he'll keep things looking spick and span.

Super Guy et CAT ont vraiment assuré problème de santé d'un de nos chat . Il se sont occupé de tout vétérinaire traitement merci à eux. Et il nous ont donné des nouvelles régulièrement. Ils bien entretenu le jardin de 2000 m2 passage tracteur tondeuse et l’intérieur de la maison. Couple que je vous recommande et à qui l'on peut faire confiance les yeux fermés. Nous avons trouvé notre maison comme au départ de plus à notre retour il avait prévu un petit repas pour nous. Pascale Lionel

Un grand merci à Catherine et Guy : une maison nickel (elle est pourtant grande!), des animaux entre de très bonnes mains, et une belle rencontre pour nous ! L'un de nos chats a eu un petit problème à l'oeil, et nous avons été immédiatement alertés. Ils sont allés chez le vétérinaire chercher le produit nécessaire. Catherine ou Guy ont su nous contacter aussi pour des petites questions d'entretien de la maison qui étaient importantes. Toujours très attentifs aux consignes et à nos souhaits. Bref : nous sommes partis 5 longues semaines, étions très tranquilles de les savoir à la maison. Nous leur disons un grand merci, et les recommandons chaleureusement. Bravo aussi pour les progrès en Français !
