As a family
I am a retired professional accountant and have enjoyed using AirBnb and other long term accommodations, including friends and relatives, in Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico and the Pacific Northwest including Canada and the USA. Along with 2 sons, we raised two dogs (West Highland White Terriers) and a budgie. Gardening is a passion; I had 52 rose bushes in my previous home in addition to various tropical plants. I enjoy Scottish Country Dancing around the world to meet new and old friends. My goal when house sitting is to leave your home better than we found it and to ensure that all of the pets are well cared for. 2 wonderful house sits in France from Dec 2018 to March 2019 was an incredible experience meeting new people, eating the French way and improving my French.

We could not wish for a nicer couple to look after our house and cat, the house was spotless on our return and I am sure Jo our cat enjoyed their company. Bernadette and Bruce prepared a lovely meal for us and we were sorry to see them leave the following day for their next location. We would recommend Bernadette and Bruce for house sitting, a very professional and charming couple. Keith and Susan in France

Cet échange fur parfait ! Bernadette et Bruce ont bien pris soin de la maison, des animaux et du jardin en notre absence. Nous avons partagé de bons moments de convivialité avec eux, avons partagé nos expériences, ce fut très enrichissant ! Je recommande vraiment Bernadette et Bruce qui ont été très discrets en notre présence et qui ont été fabuleux avec les chiens! Ils se sont aussi occupés des poules, et ont bien géré la maison ! A refaire sans aucune hésitation, vous pouvez leur confier votre maison et vos animaux les yeux fermés ! Attention toutefois, ils ne parlent que très peu français... Mais cela n'a pas été un problème pour nous, nous parlions anglais avec eux.
