Pet-sitting | Many plants | 2 Cats

I have a dog too but i would take my dog with me, so i need someone to take care of my 2 cats and the house with some plants. I would like to invite a person that is tidy, organized and responsive. I love my animals similar as if they would be my childran ( as i have no children ) so in the beginning i would like to get in touch with the sitter every day. Families are welcome too but i prefer a single person or a couple, because cats can be a bit intimidated from children.

Additional information about these dates

My dates are not jet firm. My plan is to go away for some time during the autumn or winter time but it is all very flexible. I would like someone to come for a long term (for minimum 1 month or more) as i actually have a separated place to stay so even if we are both here we each have a separated house.

My home is located on a beautiful island Vis in the old part of town. Close to the sea. The place is very comfortable, has a nice garden area and the house has all the cosy features. In the winter time the town is very empty almost like a ghost town. So only people who like a real solitude are welcome here. Also the winds and the weather can be sometimes very strong. And you can sometimes feel like you are at the end of the world. The one thing that is bothering me here is the mentality as many people still believe that a cat is a wild animal and it can survive by catching mices. So many cats here are not taken care of the way they should be and are starving in the winter when tourism is gone. And we also dont have a proper vet on the island. He comes 2 times per week only. For all the bigger things we need to go to the mainland. There are 2 separated houses, one is my parents weekend home (very nicely decorated and very comfortable) and another one is my studio apartment (also comfortable and a bit more …

The house is easy and comfortable to live in. It is situated in the smaller town on the island so there are nice and quiet walking areas around.

This is a touristic place but only in the season. So once all the tourists go awy e have quite a nice and warm winter here. The climate is mediterranean it is warm and sometimes windy.
