Pet-sitting | 2 Dogs

We have two rescue dogs which we would like looking after, There is 5 year old female black Labrador collie cross called Lucky, who we have had since she was a puppy, she is very friendly. our second rescue dog we have had since February 2023. she is a 2.5 year old Catalan sheepdog called Chica, who is very friendly when she gets to know you, but is shy and anxious to begin with until she feels she can trust you. Both dogs need two walks a day. They sleep on the sofa or large bean bags, but both are partial to a bed if given the chance. We have plants to water in the house and if the lawn could be mowed that would be great. We live in the mountains so you will need to be mobile preferably a car to travel to supermarkets etc

The house is on the edge of the village facing south with beautiful views down the valley and the surrounding mountains. The chalet is surrounded by the countryside with amazing walks up into the mountains or gentler walks across the fields. In the village there is a small hotel with restaurant and bar, approximately a 5 minute walk. The chalet is situated above the town of Bourg St Maurice which is a 10 minute drive, In Bourg there are two large supermarkets and other shops normally found in small towns, there is a market every Saturday with local produce being sold. Bourg has a hospital as well as Pharmacies and GP's and a vet.

Tourism and Leisure

This is the Alps, so it is unspoilt and glorious. Nearby resorts of La Rosiere, Les Arc and Val d'Isere close by. The chalet is at a height of 1100metres so if your looking for mountain fresh air and peace look no further.

Merci Sigrin et Adam pour la confiance pour ce second séjour chez vous pour prendre soin de Lucky et Chica. Le chalet et l'environnement sont très agréables à vivre en été, avec une petite rivière accessible à pied pour aller se rafraichir. En un coup de voiture vous arrivez au départ de sentiers de randonnées absolument magnifiques. Sigrin et Adam sont très chaleureux et réactifs pour échanger par message ou téléphone en cas de besoin. Leur famille, leurs chiennes et leurs voisins sont également très sympathiques ! A une prochaine fois ? :) Bonne suite d'été, Eliabel

Sigrin et toute sa famille nous ont accueilli chaleureusement et nous ont mis tout de suite à l’aise. Chika et Lucky,nous ont adopté très rapidement.Elles sont adorables,très câlines.Il est très facile de s’occuper d’elles,elles obéissent parfaitement,ce qui nous a permis de les promener sans laisse et de partir en randonnée sans aucun problème. Il a été difficile de les quitter…Et elles me manquent déjà. Le chalet est très bien bien situé dans un cadre reposant. Il est très bien décoré et fonctionnel,un vrai havre de paix. Merci encore pour votre confiance et je reviendrai avec grand plaisir m’occuper de Chica et Lucky.

Sigrin, Adam et leurs enfants forment une famille très accueillante et généreuse. Ils répondent vite aux messages en cas de besoin. Leur chalet, face aux montagnes, est très joli et calme, vous pourrez partir vous balader directement depuis la maison. Et la région abrite des sublimes lacs de montagne, cascades, et villages pittoresques. Les chiennes Lucky et Chica sont absolument adorables et sages. Elles viendront volontiers promener avec vous. J'étais très bien chez Sigrin et Adam pour travailler. Merci à eux pour leur confiance !
