Ava is an 8.5 year old Portuguese Water Dog, who loves the beach and going for walks. She is currently not allowed to go swimming, due to vet's instructions, but can paddle! Milo is a 3 month old kitten, who will need to be kept in separate room from Ava for the time being, as he is new to our family & they need to get acquainted!! He will be set up with his bed, climbing tree, litter tray etc in one bedroom but can be brought into main area in his cat crate to socialise (but not to be let out of his crate while Ava is around!). Ava will need 2 walks a day, one in the morning & one in the late afternoon. (She's happy to walk along to the local beach bar and sit with you for a few drinks!). Look out for cats on her walk as she's very keen to chase any she sees! Ava goes everywhere with me so if you can drive & have a valid driving licence for Spain, you could have the use of my car while I'm away. (I would need dropping off/picking up at Alicante airport however). I can collect …

Lovely location, 3 minutes walk to the beach. Bars, cafes, restaurants within walking distance. Local supermarket 15 minutes walk with larger selection of shops and the popular La Xenia Boulevard shopping area about 30 mins walk. Nice outdoor sitting area for sunbathing, relaxing, outdoor eating. Car parking available. Small upstairs balcony overlooking beach & sea.

Tourism and Leisure

This is a very pretty area with several beaches accessible via adjoining promenades/coastal paths. As it is out of season at the moment the beaches are quieter. A safe place to walk, with friendly people (permanent residents and holiday-makers). English is widely spoken.
