Pet-sitting | Animals with specific needs | 1 Dog

Ours is a 60 pound mixed breed female with megaesophagus, a swallowing condition. This is well-managed by medication that must be given three times daily and also requires her feeding to be semi-liquid, so preparation is involved to add liquids and mix it down. She is beautifully behaved and easy at home but we are cautious with her in public as her illness makes her a bit reactive. More details can be provided.

Top floor flat in leafy Central London area. Two Tube stations within 15 minutes walk, bus stops, supermarkets and other shopping steps away. Good access to parks and river Thames. No parking. Sweet senior dog requiring attentive care, walks and pilling. Would best suit animal loving individual/couple with prior experience of London, i.e., who's happy to prioritize pet care over intensive sightseeing.

The flat is in a doorman/portered building and has a small lift to the 7th floor with short flight of stairs to the apartment. Its location in the building and area generally guarantees a very tranquil stay (although some work is scheduled for the opposite side of the building shortly - restrictions on evening and some daytime work imposed). The flat is very bright and comfortable with a small kitchen, bath/shower and open views across West London. Between shopping and eating options you'll be spoilt for choice, with friendly pubs within walking distance. Museums and tourist attractions within 1/2 hour walk. Plentifully served by taxis.

London's gardens and squares are even prettier and friendlier when you have a beautiful (general consensus!) dog at the end of a leash. All the famous destinations are easily accessed from this flat, but if you just want to relax, bond with urban flora and fauna, or WFH and pretend you are a jaded local, privacy and calm is what this location offers.

We enjoyed our stay at Claudia and David's very much. The neighborhood is great and the backyard is absolutely fabulous with expansive views. We especially enjoyed the grandmother avocado tree who is abundantly giving of her fruits, the fragrant garden and the sweet kitty Dolly who really opened up more and more every day of our stay. Claudia was communicative with us even as she was on vacation and quick to offer any solutions to issues that arose. The guest bedroom is comfortable and the stovetop great for cooking! Highly recommended!
