There are 4 decks off of rooms throughout the 2 story house. Jeremy does his writing on the deck overlooking the trees and canyon. Susan cooks in the kitchen with canyon and bay views.. this is the most beautiful house we've ever lived in.
There are high end appliances and solid cherry wood flooring throughout the top floors and wooden trims everywhere.
We have ethernet so that you don't need wifi unless you want it.

We have a concert Yamaha grand piano in the living room that overlooks the redwood tree tops and the canyon. Great acoustics. We also have a trumpet and lots of sheet music. We have electrical car charging station if you need it. We have a laundry hanging line if you rather use that (I do) than the dryer for clothing.

Friendly neighbors who are very helpful. Montclair town is the nearest shopping with postoffice, grocery stores, many restaurants, It is only a 5 min drive.. It has a large park, tennis courts. Home is only 5 mins drive to Berkeley and its plethora of culture, restaurants and UC Berkeley campus 12 minutes from home.

We are 6 minutes drive up hill to the East Bay Regional Parks Sibley, Redwood, and many other thousands of acres of hiking trails. This attracted us to buy our home here so that we can do hiking with the dogs. There are hundreds of miles of hiking trails and they are gorgeous. Sibley and Redwood and Tilden are ieash off and beautiful. We are only an hour drive from Napa and the wine country. I don't drink so we usually drive 1.5 hrs to the spectacular beaches of Pt Reyes National
Seashore. We are also only 30 mins to the beaches in S.F. Also, we are only 20 minutes to S.F. off-commute hours and I would not recommend going during rush hour that can take up to. 2 hours. Our son works there now so we hear how fast it is on the off-peak hours and slow it is Tues-Thurs from 4PM - 6:30PM.
We are close to an incredibly beautifully landscaped Oakland Zoo, about 15 mins drive... not just for children.. it's a must see. Award winning zoo for their care-taking of animals that were rescued and much space for …

Oakland's airport is about a 15 minute drive and we are central to very popular
sites in Northern California and all the natural beauty as well as city options it has to offer.
