Pet-sitting | 2 Dogs

Dogs need to be walked each day. Also, if they are to stay inside, must take them for a short walk before leaving the apartment for an extended time, so they can pee. They generally stay outside during the day in good weather and always inside at night. If inside during the day, they need to be let out every 2-3 hours. May need to water a few plants in the front and back of house. Also, please note that the bed is a full size, so tall people may not find this comfortable. Also note that the 16th us when I will be home, so the last night to stay is the 15th.

Small, one bed (full-double), one bath apartment with garden. All amenities included. This is the rear apartment of a house. Great location, situated near the streetcar, supermarkets, restaurants, Bayou St. John and City Park - all walking distance. Ten minutes from the French Quarter. Good location for Jazz Fest, May 4-7. Two miniature dachshunds need loving care while I am away.

There is always something to do in New Orleans - music, festivals, opera, art galleries, dining. Lots of fitness activities in City Park and on the bayou. It's often hard to choose one event from many on the same day. My apartment is the perfect location to participate in the community, as well as being right near all the essentials like supermarkets, restaurants and bars, streetcar and beautiful outdoor locations.

Rosemary is a friendly, gracious home owner. She loves her 2 dachsundts and I loved sitting for them! They are such characters, entertaining and loving. Rosemary gave me tips for getting around and introduced me to a local friend who included me in parties for jazz fest and to get acclimated. ROsemary's home is also really sweet- she has a great feel forest and design, and it has a charming individual character- lots of paintings, very pretty, and clean. There is a little garden in back with a table and chairs to sit out in. It’s located Midcity, only 20 minutes by street car to the French Quarter, and walking distance to a supermarket and great local food. I definitely recommend petsitting for Rosemary and her little dogs!
