Hello there, I have been petsitting with my family for a few years now but this year I am looking for a housesit for just myself and my 16 year old son. He will finish his school at the end of June and we are looking for a chance to travel and visit somewhere new to celebrate the end of exams!

We love exploring new places, learning new languages and sampling regional food and drink. We love long walks, cities, beaches, cosy pubs, cooking and travelling. We are complete animal lovers with lots of experience looking after our own, and other people's, furry families so travel that also involves looking after pets is just perfect for us.

We have our own cat and dog at home who are indulged and adored but who can stay at home with my daughter and husband on this occasion. As well as a Damatian, a Golden Retriever, a Border Collie and a Cocker Spaniel dogs and Siamese, Sphynx and other Oriental cats, we also have experience with rescue and mixed breed doggies and moggies of all sorts.

Both my children are sensible and sensitive and love dogs, cats, chickens, hedgehogs, pigs, goats and everything furry and/or four-legged.

In the past we have looked after rabbits and hedgehogs, provided dogwalking locally and have previously been 'puppy parents' for the charity Canine Partners which trains dogs to work with the disabled. I was a veterinary nurse for 5 years both in the UK and Australia so I'm generally quite used to all creatures great and small! I have no problem with administering medication or dealing with emergencies.

I have regularly looked after a lovely old cat locally while his humans are away and I also petsit for another family who have cats, fish and chickens.
As a family, we spent the whole of summer 2018 looking after a gorgeous Irish terrier and some chickens in Dorset and summer 2019 cat-sitting a mischievous Siamese pair in Cartagena, Spain! Sadly, Covid has clipped our wings a little since but we are now ready to housesit again.
