I divide my time between Europe and Asia (mostly India), where I do voluntary work. For the past four years I've been spending part of the year working as a live-in carer in the UK, looking after elderly people, as well as their homes and pets. Now I would like to have a bit more time and space to develop some online work possibilities, while exploring some new places, and house/pet sitting seems like a great way to do this.
This summer I have completed house/pet sits in Bristol and Paris (references available on request), both excellent experiences. Before discovering online house sitting networks, I had also done a number of house sits for friends and family, and my years of care work also involved a great deal of housekeeping and pet care. I love all animals and delight in spending time with them (especially cats:). I'm happy to do a bit of light gardening. I am honest, practical and reliable.
Besides that, I love walking, nature, exploring new places. I am a quiet and contemplative type with little need for entertainment - I like to live simply.
I have a full up-to-date DBS certificate (criminal record check) which I can provide on request.
I don't have a car, so unfortunately I am not able to do house sits where own transport is required. (I can drive though, if a car is available.)

J'ai tout de suite une immédiate confiance avec Linda. Elle a très bien su s'occuper de mes 2 chats. Elle est très douce, autonome, mais donne des nouvelles régulièrement. L'appartement était impeccable à mon retour. Je regrette de ne pas avoir pu faire plus connaissance avec elle et de ne pas avoir pu donner un peu plus de renseignements sur mon nouveau quartier. J'espère l'accueillir une prochaine fois et je la recommande vivement.
