We are Dave and Janet Swift, a retired couple living in Northern California who enjoy the adventure of travel, especially in Europe, where we store a motorcycle for annual visits. We are active, healthy and self-reliant, making this an ideal time in our lives to explore new destinations and cultures, while caring for your home and pets.
We are non-smoking home-owners, who appreciate the importance of keeping a home well-maintained and secure. We have owned a variety of animals and know how important it is for your pets to be loved and well cared for while you are away.
Janet is an avid gardener. Dave is a do-it-yourself kind of guy, with past careers in law enforcement and home remodeling. Having both had lengthy careers as marketing communications professionals, we understand the importance of timely and frequent communications before and during your time away, and can be counted on to be there for you.
If selected for your house sitting assignment, you will gain the peace of mind knowing that your house is being closely monitored. We'll treat your home as if it were our own, respecting your property and your privacy. You'll enjoy coming home to calm, happy pets that have lovingly been cared for, as well as a flourishing, productive garden.

Nous sommes très heureux d'avoir rencontré Janet et David. Ils sont agréables, serviables et autonomes. Ils se sont parfaitement bien occupé de nos animaux et nous avaient préparé un très bon repas pour notre retour, une très jolie attention. Le séjour dans notre maison de Janet et Dave s'est très très bien passé. Nous avons retrouvé notre maison propre, rangée et accueillante. Les animaux sont en forme...je crois que notre chat a grossi!!! Nous avons apprécié les petites attentions et les petits messages laissés à leur départ. Nous espérons les revoir lors d'une escale française, cela ns ferait très plaisir de passer un moment avec eux. Janet s'exprime bien en français et parle lentement en anglais ce qui nous permet de comprendre la conversation.
