We are Dave and Janet Swift, a retired couple living in Northern California who enjoy the adventure of travel, especially in Europe, where we store a motorcycle for annual visits. We are active, healthy and self-reliant, making this an ideal time in our lives to explore new destinations and cultures, while caring for your home and pets.
We are non-smoking home-owners, who appreciate the importance of keeping a home well-maintained and secure. We have owned a variety of animals and know how important it is for your pets to be loved and well cared for while you are away.
Janet is an avid gardener. Dave is a do-it-yourself kind of guy, with past careers in law enforcement and home remodeling. Having both had lengthy careers as marketing communications professionals, we understand the importance of timely and frequent communications before and during your time away, and can be counted on to be there for you.
If selected for your house sitting assignment, you will gain the peace of mind knowing that your house is being closely monitored. We'll treat your home as if it were our own, respecting your property and your privacy. You'll enjoy coming home to calm, happy pets that have lovingly been cared for, as well as a flourishing, productive garden.

Après être arrivés en moto, la personnalité de Jeannette et Dave nous ont tout de suite mis en confiance. Ce sont des personnes gentilles, attentionnées et très intéressées par la richesse de nos régions françaises. Après un mois d'absence, nous avons retrouvé une maison propre et soignée, les animaux avaient été dorlotés et le jardin arrosé. Ils sont très adaptables et soucieux de respecter à la lettre les recommandations. Ce fut une rencontre très agréable et nous espérons pouvoir les revoir un jour.

Janet et Dave sont très agréables, ils vivent aux USA mais adorent voyager en moto en Europe et se sont beaucoup intéressés à notre région. Ils ont été très ponctuels le jour du rdv pour la remise des clés. Nos chats ont aussi passé un bon séjour avec eux et nous avons récupéré notre maison propre. Je recommande!
