We are a married couple with a one year old son. Paula comes from Argentina but we live together in Germany and we like to travel a lot, making now our first steps in house sitting. But we have already gained some experience with CouchSurfing by hosting travellers at home or meeting CouchSurfers on the road. We´ve decided to turn to house sitting since we have two lovely cats at home who need company when we are away.

House sitting for Paula’s and Marcel’s cats Chimi and Churri and looking after their nice apartment was such a pleasure and a privilege. They gave me such a warm welcome and went to great lengths to make sure I would be comfortable during my stay and provided clear instructions on all relevant subjects. Furthermore they were always available and very responsive when I texted them news or questions. The two cats were very sweet and affectionate company and easy to care for. Paula and Marcel are blessed to live in a nice and comfortable apartment decorated with good taste and situated in the Markelsheim district of Bad Merkeltheim. Thanks for this rare opportunity and I look forward to a continuing friendship.
