I'm in my late 50's and work 4 days a week as a Health Visitor supporting parents and young children. I am not therefore available for long house sits. I live with my husband and 2 dogs and 3 cats in Exmouth, UK. I am very much an animal person and have looked after and owned dogs and cats since I was a child. I have 2 children and 4 young grandchildren who also live in the South West of England.
I am new to house sitting so have not yet gained any endorsements. However, I am able to supply character references and also have a current enhanced CRB (police) check which is a requirement of my job. I also have professional registration with a UK health professionals organisation.

This was our first ever Nomador Stopover, and we made our request at very short notice. Sue, the home owner, could not have been any more hospitable. She replied within a short time and we were greeted warmly upon our arrival and shown through the home, which was very cosy. Sue and her husband provided a very nice meal for us, which was very much appreciated after a long drive. Conversation was easy and we all enjoyed recounting travel stories and getting to know each other over dinner. After dinner we were made to feel at home and invited to join them in the front sitting room, however we were just too tired and ended up retiring to our room. The bedroom was very comfortable and had a nice view out over the estuary. It also had its' own shower and basin. We want to thank Sue and her husband Alan for a very enjoyable and comfortable night's stopover, especially at such short notice.
