Paul is an astonishing host. He is kind and welcoming beyond my expectations. I have had some sad experiences with house sits in the past, but this one has been a dream come true. We have laughed and shared music making together. Cooked for each other, ( his partner, Ali, helped me get to grips with making sour dough bread by 'phone from England!!!) and I feel we have become brothers. He welcomed me as if he had known me all his life, but has let me be solitary when I have chosen that. He spends time in England as a professional musician, so I have been in the lovely house, in its beautiful grounds, alone, but with incredibly supportive neighbours a ten minute drive away. I came as a house sitter, and am now staying on as a friend. Family.
