Hi there! I’m a former communication assistant from Ghent (Belgium), turned student of web design. In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, discovering new (old) places, cooking (mostly the eating part) and I’m a bit obsessed with cinema and music. I’m also a language nerd, so besides my native Dutch and English I also speak French, Spanish, German and some Portuguese, Italian and Swedish.
I know how to take care of plants and I can do a bit of gardening, having done some house/cat/plant sitting for friends before. Growing up, I’ve always loved having cats (I miss having one now!). We had some guinea pigs and chickens as well. Also quite fond of dogs, but for pet sitting it will depend on their specific character and needs.
I’m looking for a Nomador stay, to enjoy a new surrounding, go for walks and tiny day trips but also to isolate myself a bit for writing and studying. It’d be great to have a furry friend to keep me company with that :)

Tout s'est très passé avec Katrien. Nous l'avons rencontrée avant notre départ et le courant est tout de suite passé ! Katrien est une personne calme, respectueuse et douce avec les animaux. A notre retour, notre chat avait l'air serein et content. La maison était impeccable ! Je la recommande vivement et n'hésiterai pas une seconde à la recontacter pour un autre séjour si l'occasion se présente.
