Since 2015 I've been a digital nomad, I travel around the world while working as a freelance illustrator. I've gained a lot of experience taking care of animals and properties through the Workaway community as well as through local connections.

I'm a very self sufficient traveler, I (usually) travel solo and I have a motorcycle, so I'm able to reach remote locations and I don't need much space to park. To generate income, I only need drawing supplies and a laptop, this allows me to be mobile while moving forward in my career, I truly enjoy having this kind of freedom.

While traveling, I've managed to grow my business, I create illustrations, paintings and designs for a variety of projects. I now work roughly 30 hours per week, this means I'm not able to engage in the work-for-room-and-board experiences (Workaway) anymore, something I really miss. Fortunately, a fellow digital nomad introduced me to the community of Nomador, which is a perfect solution for me; I get to travel, feel local and be around animals, while having enough time to focus on my work.

I've had many house sitting, pet sitting and gardening jobs outside of Nomador. If you're interested to learn more about my work ethic, skills and experience, I can get you in touch with a farm I've lived and worked at for almost 6 months, taking care of dogs, sheep, chicken, rabbits and a large garden.

I prefer staying at a location for a few weeks, I'm a slow traveler and I like to take time get to know the location and people (and animals) that surround me. I love to take care of pets or farm animals, but I'm also totally fine with caring for a garden or just a property.

My priority is always over the animals I'm responsible for, I won't start or end my day before I'm sure that all animals are fed and happy. No matter if I take care of a shy cat, a clumsy Great Dane, stubborn sheep, or a pitbull with mild separation anxiety, I'll find something to love in each pet and I'll give them all the attention they need to feel comfortable.
