Kitti s.

It was a pleasure staying at Kitti’s house in Johannesburg. Her entire family welcomed me with such warmth and generosity before their departure, introducing me to their home and their fur baby, Bruno. Communication prior to and throughout my stay was consistently prompt, clear, respectful and kind. I would not hesitate to host Kitti or her family. With regard to the house, it is a large property with many rooms and plenty of outdoor space. During my stay, part time staff were responsible for maintaining both the interior and exterior of the home. Rosa lives on the property and was available to answer any of my questions. I particularly enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and writing or relaxing outside in the sun or on the balcony. Since it was winter, I didn’t venture into the pool, but I imagine it would be wonderful during warmer weather. The highlight of my time at Kitti’s house was certainly getting to know Bruno. He is such a sweet, well-trained, loyal and low-maintenance French bulldog. After the family’s departure, it was clear that he was suffering from separation anxiety and, understandably, took his time to suss me out. His personal vetting process made me appreciate his affections and small gestures all the more. His playful energy and his calm attentiveness always made me smile. If you have the opportunity to hang with Bruno, here are some quick notes: walk to the gate before putting on his harness to clearly signal a walk brush his coat – he loves it!
