Hello!
Nice to meet you. My name is Jonas, a 38 year old guy from Stockholm. My professional background is as a researcher in cosmology (physics), but now I'm pursuing a new path trying to write a popular science book about black holes. So at the moment I am looking for a calm place to focus on my writing, and house sitting is therefore a perfect option.
I love animals, especially dogs and cats. I had a cat when I grew up, and have taken care of a lot of my friends cats after that. My mother recently got a dog (called Milou, as featured on my profile photo) which immediately got a big place in my heart. He was a bit nervous and introvert when my mother got him, but we gave him a lot of love and attention and long walks in nature, and now he has opened up and is completely relaxed with us.
When I'm not writing on my book, I enjoy taking long walks in nature, play piano or guitar. My biggest journey yet is to the South Pole in Antarctica. I've been there twice, working on the construction of an observatory. It was great, but a bit cold :-)

Jonas was great. Even better than I expected who went over and beyond to make sure my house and dogs were ok. The fence had an opening and my tiny french bully escaped many times I heard and he brought her back safe. 4 dogs is a handful but he did really well. I definitely recommend him.
