Hello! We are Kristina and Peter. We are couple since 2008...
We often did countryside house sits for our friends who had to do work travels - during those sits we were looking after Bernese Mountain Dogs (first female, then male one), and owner's ecological house .
We liked to travel though and many people did suggest us trying house sitting websites. We already knew Couchsurfing, so we did arrange our first sit (Switzerland) over this portal.
We liked this way of travel very much.
Our adventure with TrustedHousesitters started in January 2019. We were in France several times ( cats, middle size dog, chickens, garden), Italy three times (cat and dog, garden), Germany(two dogs, sick cat), Austria(two cats, garden), several times Spain(big dogs, cats) .
Till the Autumn of 2022 we already managed to do over 25 sits, and see absolutely amazing places all around Europe.
We both got raised in small house-and-garden families, and we are not afraid of fixing things and economical living.
We are both non-smokers, we do not drink alcohol and we do not do drugs, instead we are friendly, happy and we enjoy life and opportunities it brings.
We do own a car, and we are self-sufficient. We do respect other people's property , values and rules.

Kristina and Peter were excellent house sitters. They took great care of our 6 cats! They kept us well informed during their 2 month long stay. Upon our return we found our house and yard in pristine condition: house clean, grass mowed, all our plants in good shape. Our neighbors were very complimentary of their friendliness and kindness. We'd be very happy to have Peter and Kristina come again for another house sit any time.

Nous avions confié à Peter et Kristina pendant 1 mois cet été, les clefs de la maison. Ils ont été très attentifs à nos recommandations avant notre départ. A notre retour, la maison était impeccable. Notre chat Percy a été dorloté. Quant au jardin, rien à redire. Et pourtant, l’été a été pluvieux ; ça n’a pas dû être simple de tondre. Les poules ont été tellement bien soignées, qu’elles ont pondu tout l’été. C’était vraiment un homesitting de très grande qualité. Merci à eux. Peter et Kristina sont des personnes gentilles et très agréables. C’était une très belle rencontre. Vous pouvez leur faire confiance les yeux fermés. Nous serions ravis de les accueillir de nouveau.

Kristina und Peter betreuten 6 Wochen meine Katzen in meiner gut isolierte Wohnung mit vielen grossen Pflanzen. Wegen Lookdown musste ich meine Reise früher beenden, deshalb lebten wir noch 1 Woche gemeinsam in meiner Wohnung. Während meiner Abwesenheit sendeten sie mir regelmässig Fotos meiner Tiere. Meine Katzen genossen die täglichen Streicheleinheiten und das Bürsten sehr. Man spürt, das Kristina und Peter Katzen und ihre Tätigkeit sehr lieben.

Kristina and Peter are the perfect home sitters. They take their role very seriously, they really love animals and give some news on a daily basis. They are warm and intelligent people. The house was very clean when we came back. The cats had lots of cuddles. The garden was healthy. And they had even cook some meal for us when we came back! I highly recommend.
