As a couple/duo
We're a retired couple aged 62 and 66. Maggie worked in adult learning delivering literacy, English for Speakers of Other Languages and family learning. Mike was a CAD operator. We enjoy travelling at every opportunity and love to find interesting out of the way places. We're home exchangers and have a lot of experience in hosting guests when we're away from home and in taking care of others' homes. We're experienced gardeners and have always had cats. We love animals and we're very happy to take care of a garden and any type of animal, but especially cats and birds. Most of all, we enjoy making friends with people all over the world!

It was great to meet Maggie and Mike. We had a very nice time in their house. They showed and explained everything to us, so we felt at home right away. They also provided us with Scottish specialities and lots of ideas for excursions. The house is very pleasant and we really enjoyed spending time there and in the garden, watching the birds and the squirrel. We also enjoyed the fresh eggs for breakfast. The pub in the village is great. The neighbours are lovely. We can only recommend a stay there.

We had an enjoyable stay at Maggie and Mike's lovely home. The house was very comfortable and well maintained and we enjoyed cooking in their well equipped kitchen. They provided us with all the information we needed to be able to take advantage of the activities and tourist attractions in the area. The village was small but it was close to many historic towns and palaces, numerous great golf courses including St Andrew's and had an excellent pub. Their cat Sapphire was a delight - an affectionate and energetic elderly cat. Thanks Maggie and Mike. Dave and Susan

Maggie and Mike were kind and considerate. They made a delicious soup for us to enjoy when they left and supplies for breakfast. Sapphire was easy to look after and seemed to enjoy our company.
