We are a couple in our 70s and have been living in this beautiful part of France for many years. We have a large garden to maintain which we enjoy doing as well as wandering off on country walks and swims in the river in Summer when the heat is quite intense here as well as very dry. We are in the middle of farmed countryside but not isolated and access to shops and other services are reasonably nearby but a car is definitely needed.
We love our two cats and because of them we need house sitters when away. We have reasonably fast Wifi and good mobile phone reception here.
