My partner is a retired engineer and convinced me to join him in housesitting and travelling the world. so I quit my job, rented my house, sold my car and "VOILA!" a wonderful new life. He has been doing this for the past two years, but throughout his life, he has traveled all over the world He's from Ireland and I am from Canada. We are easy going, responsible and friendly, fully understanding that your home is to be treated as we would treat our own. Gardening, maintenance, pet care, there isn't much we don't do. I've owned and cared for dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats - frogs even! We are very proud of the job we do and of the references we can provide from our house sits in Canada, Italy, France and the UK And we love that choosing to house sit gives us the opportunity to live and experience the places we go as those who live there. We are very fit and able, no health issues. And if you need convincing - I can bribe you by cooking...or baking a fabulous cheesecake! Thank you for looking at our profile. Jacquie and Merv were great. They are very personable and make friends of everyone they meet. They provided regular updates on the house, cat and neighbourhood. We were assured all had been left in good hands. We could not have been happier with their stay at our home and would welcome them back any time.
