We are Kate and Colby, an Australian couple who have been together for over 20 years (and married for the last 10 of those).
We have taken time out from our jobs as engineers / managers in the West Australian construction industry and are currently travelling Europe and refocussing on the important things in life. We love exploring the path less travelled, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. We are also avid cyclists and enjoy exploring new parts of the world on two wheels.
We are both animal lovers and grew up with numerous pets. Although our work has involved extensive travel and has prevented us from keeping pets of our own, housesitting has provided the perfect furry friend fix.
We are both non-smokers, and Kate speaks intermediate German, French and Spanish.
We are flexible with our travel plans and will generally go wherever opportunity beckons. We don't require much, other than an internet connection and a place to park our vehicle.
We have extensive house sitting experience, and also own our own home in Australia, so we understand the importance of having tenants / house-sitters who would look after it like their own.
We will bring the utmost respect for your property, and a strong work ethic in carrying out any care or maintenance required of us.

Il s'agissait de notre première expérience de home-sitting. Kate et Colby sont venus se présenter quelques jours avant le séjour et ont su nous mettre en confiance. Nous avons passé quelques jours ensemble et ils se sont investis à 100%% pour nous aider dans des travaux de bois et s'occuper des animaux. Nous avons partagé d'excellents moments et cette expérience était extraordinaire. Pendant notre absence, nous avons reçu des nouvelles de la maison et des animaux. Et à notre retour, tout était nickel, rangé, propre, les animaux en superbe forme et nous avions chacun un petit mot en français, avec un petit souvenir. Merci beaucoup d'être entré dans nos vies et notre porte vous sera toujours ouverte.
