I am a single German woman (50 years) who lived the last 14 years mainly in Australia. After being away for so many years I feel that I need to explore more of Europe and other parts of the world.
I believe house sitting is a fantastic way to discover different areas & communities without the feeling of being a "tourist". I also like to travel self contained and love to explore the non-touristy parts of a country.
Prior to my move to Australia I've worked over 13 yrs in the hotel industry in Germany before I changed my occupation to a stud hand on horse studs.

It was wonderful to have Ute take care of our house and dogs!! We would love to have her come again. She immediately built a strong relationship with the dogs and took long walks with them in the surrounding hill sides. They miss her dearly. Ute explored the cultural sites in the region, rode to the nearby village by bike to shop and formed friendly relationships with the neighbors. She took very good care of the house and helped us by conscientiously fulfilling all the needed tasks. In the overlapping days we had lovely conversations. I found her to be a very kind and considerate person.
