Hello! My name is Fay, and I'm currently a master's student in Philosophy at KU Leuven, Belgium. Before coming to Belgium, I completed my bachelor's degree, also in Philosophy, at Yale-NUS College in Singapore, with one term of study abroad at the University of Oxford. I'm originally from the US.
Within philosophy, I'm primarily interested in ethics and Buddhist philosophy. Reading, yoga, running, classical music, vegan baking, and being with animals are some of my favorite things.
I love to travel and explore the people, nature, and animals of the world -- pet-sitting is a perfect way for me to do so on a budget. Besides this, I love to pet-sit because it offers such a wholesome experience for everyone involved -- the sitter gets to enjoy a new place, the pets are given lots of love while the owners are away, and the owners get to have peace of mind during their trip and then come home to happy pets and a clean home.
I make for a great sitter because I'm a real animal-lover (with a special affection for cats, since I grew up with one!), and by nature I am calm, clean, and responsible. I don't drink or smoke, and as an introvert, I find pleasure in simple at-home activities like reading, day-dreaming, and writing, which means I'm more than happy to be a continuous source of entertainment and love for the pets. I am also highly communicative and responsive -- I enjoy carrying out my tasks diligently and want the people I'm helping to feel reassured and at ease during the entire stay.

We went on holiday for 8 days and Fay came to take care of our two cats. She was a fantastic petsitter and we were delighted! She is a very calm person, gives frequent updates (highly appreciated!) and undoubtedly has a special feeling with animals. Indeed, our 2nd cat Zora is a very shy cat, who does not allow anyone to approach her. I think Fay was able to connect with her :-) She was also careful not to let our cats go outside after a certain hour in the evening, which was an important point for us. You can trust her at 100%%! It would be a pleasure to welcome her back if the opportunity would arise. Thanks a lot, Fay!

Fay was a lovely cat and housesitter. When she came, I had just moved house and was still in the process of getting my flat set up. While I was away, she dealt with power cuts, a flooded washing machine and a sick cat (among other things) with professionalism and serenity. My new apartment was carefully looked after and left in spotless condition. I really appreciated her kind gestures and calm demeanour.

We're so glad to have met Fay on Nomador. She is a warm, friendly woman, easy to communicate with and very reliable. Freddie, our cat, loved her. We got regular updates on how it was going and pictures of them hanging out together. She left the house in perfect condition, took care of my plants and the trash. Freddie liked her so much, I think she didn't even notice we were're gone.. Thank you Fay!

Fay was a fantastic cat-sitter! She was extremely easy to get along with, and I was happy to see her immediately warm up with the cats when she arrived. Although my apartment was not really 'finished' since I had moved in not too long ago, Fay was an absolute champ and never created a fuss. She understood everything that needed to be done clearly, and also messaged me if there was anything that needed some clarification. I was happy to come home and find everything neat and tidy, and the cats looking happy and healthy. Would gladly have her here again!
