We are a retired couple, Jon is an artist and was an art teacher and Fiona was a mental health nurse. We have 4 adult sons, one of whom lives in Barcelona with his wife and 2 of our grandchildren. We have three other grandchildren in the UK, hence wanting to visit a few times a year.
We moved here to Southern Catalunia in early 2021 to enjoy our retirement in the sun and explore a new culture. We did have a small organic farm in Devon and farmed some Dexter cows and sheep, chickens and at one time some pigs. We grew organic vegetables and had a vegetable box scheme.
We enjoy nature, walking, visiting art galleries and exploring other cultures. Jon continues to do landscape painting and photography and Fiona enjoys crafts, particularly spinning , natural dying and weaving.
We have always had pets and at present have two cats and two dogs.
We had house sitters in the UK which were very successful .
