We are a couple (Danish & Portuguese-American) who returned to Denmark in 2021 after 8 years living abroad in New Zealand and Serbia. Our kids live here in Copenhagen, and we have recently had the luck of becoming grand parents.
We used to host a lot of Couch Surfing when living in New Zealand which led to a lot of great experiences, and greatly enjoy travelling ourselves. While living in Serbia my wife was helping out at a cat park in town - a place where wild cats were cared for - and one day she came upon Zenica giving birth to 4 kittens. We took them in, and now some years later, we are the lucky owners (or slaves, who is to tell, really...) of Zenica and the oldest male cat Ninja.
Zenica lived some time on the street, but they are both indoor cats now.
