Hi! We are Amy and Jake, and over the past 10 years we have cared for the homes, pets, and property of many families. These families consistently ask for us to return, and are thankful for the security and peace of mind that our presence provides.

We have experience with dogs, cats, chickens and roosters, chicks, ducks, geese, goats, and fish (and are always willing to learn)! We are comfortable administering medication and have cared for elderly animals. Jake is an avid gardener who has worked with a variety of plants - flowers, vegetable-bearing, and fruit-bearing. We have cared for property on well and septic systems, used solar-powered electricity, wood-burning stoves, and compost.

We are location independent and own an online business which allows us to spend time caring for your animals and property.

We are both non-smokers, have no dependents, and no pets. Being in our late twenties, we are energetic, yet we are also responsible and trustworthy (as is demonstrated by our extensive experience and references). We speak Spanish with moderate proficiency, and some conversational Italian, French, and American Sign Language.

We have a passion for experiencing new places, and we enjoy the reciprocal nature of housesitting. It is a mutually beneficial relationship between the sitters and the homeowners. The sitters are able to immerse themselves in new locales while caring for animals and property that make them feel at home, and the owners are able to leave their home knowing that their house, property, garden, and animals are all in good hands.

Travel is important to us, which is why we both have jobs that allow us to be location independent. However, we are also both homebodies deep down. We enjoy caring for a home and animals, and having a safe base from which to explore towns and cities. We are slow travelers, so housesitting is perfect for us, allowing us to spend weeks or months in one location.
