I don't smoke, and will of course keep your house tidy so that everything is ok and taken care of when you come back.

I respect people's privacy which I believe is very important when choosing a housesitter.
I also take care of the plants if that's the case, and enjoy doing it too.

-> I'm Portuguese, and I speak English fluently.
-> As for French and Spanish: I can fully understand both languages when reading - as for speaking the language myself, at the moment only the basics, but I've done long house and petsits in France and Spain with no issues at all :)
-> As for Italian: I can understand a big part when reading.

Raquel is the perfect catsitter. She truly is! You can feel straight away that she really loves and connects with them. We got cute photos and videos of our two cats everyday just like we wished for. They both sat on her lap which is pretty rare for our cats! We're 100%% sure they had a really special time with her. The questions Raquel asked about the house showed her dedication, care, intelligence and experience as a housesitter. The house was tidy, and the plants and cats were happy. Next time we need a housesitter we will contact Raquel before anyone else hoping she is free and says yes, because we are sure our cats will not just be taken care of, but also loved, cuddled and appreciated just like we do. Raquel stayed almost 3 weeks at our place and took care of our two cats, Billie and Mitzi. She has proved to be serious, reliable, easy going and extremely responsive. She took great care of the house, and sent regularly pictures and super cute videos of our cats! She has been flexible when we changed the date of our return and managed to stay longer than expected. Raquel is great and I would be delighted to have her again at home ;) Hope we'll manage to organize it soon ;)

Raquel was fantastic and exceeded all my expectations. From that initial moment we made contact I felt her honest love for animals and knew she'd be the perfect fit for my dog. She took such great care of my dog and sent me personalised photos and updates that always made my day and gave me such peace of mind while away. She is a very respectful guest and kept the house clean and tidy to the very end. I can't recommend her enough and my dog and I were so lucky to have her and look forward to her return in future.
