Hi! I'm Amy Logan from the San Francisco, California, area. I adore both animals and travel, so it's a joy and a privilege to get to care for your beloved pets while I explore your neck of the woods! Reliable, caring and experienced, I've taken care of many pets and homes while living in ten countries and traveling in 50+.
I've launched my service Globetrotter Pet & Home Care (www.globetrotterpets.com) for my grand adventure traveling as a digital nomad for the foreseeable future!
I deeply value cross-cultural exchange and have been an intrepid traveler all my life. I grew up in Austin and Dallas, Texas, but my family lived in Brazil and Argentina for a year when I was five. I lived with host families in high school in French Canada and Switzerland and hosted a Finnish student my senior year. I housesat in Sydney, Australia in my early twenties, then was invited to visit Aborigines in Arnhemland by special permission as I traveled by myself 10,000 miles around Australia. I stayed in the homes of Israelis, Druze and Palestinians in Israel while researching a book I wrote. I've gazed at the full moon lying on a banana leaf in the Ecuadorean Amazon while visiting a village deep in the jungle.
While I've lived in eight distinct regions of the USA, I have hosted dozens of travelers from all over the world in my home at no cost to them and I really enjoy it!
Professionally, I'm a seasoned, self-employed executive coach working virtually with startup founders (mostly in tech), corporate leaders and teams. I support them to be both more successful at work as well as more fulfilled in life. I make my own hours and can work from anywhere there is stable WiFi -- and I always bring my own back-up, just in case.
When I travel, I enjoy learning about the old legends, myths and folklore of the region, exploring nature by hiking, backpacking, kayaking and SUP, learning a local jig, experiencing art of all kinds visiting old churches, listening to live music and especially meeting the locals and their animals!

Avec Amy, c'est comme si l'on se connaissait depuis toujours. Le courant est tout de suite passé et nous avons communiqué comme de vieilles amies dès les premiers instants. Amy s'est occupée parfaitement de la maison, de nos trois fifilles et nous donnait tous les jours des nouvelles de tout ce petit monde à 4 pattes, sans oublier de nous envoyer de très belles photos. Sabah a eu la chance d'être promenée quotidiennement et nos 3 animaux étaient très tristes de voir partir Amy. Moi aussi d'ailleurs. J'aurais bien aimé la garder encore un peu avec nous. A notre retour, la maison était impeccable et Amy avait préparé un délicieux repas sans oublier l'apéritif... Merci Amy de ta gentillesse, ta joie de vivre, de nos échanges et de ta disponibilité. Nous serions plus que ravis de t'avoir de nouveau avec nous. Bon retour dans ta région et nous espérons à très bientôt.
