Very welcoming and congenial hosts. Introduced us to their fine dogs, Fish and Pistache. We enjoyed the personalities of the pets during our assignment and had no trouble following their directions. Woof, woof = open the door. Woof-woof-woof = feed us. Now! Jean-Pierre and Martine are extremely helpful for cultural visit suggestions. We were amazed during our afternoon at Vaux-le-Vicompte. The lovely house for our sit is located in a gated area on a golf course. The garden is large and fenced for the dogs to run around in. Our guest quarters were well appointed and quiet. We enjoyed a good meal together [Dan makes a great Boulognese] before leaving. Good times. Oh, we had many conversations in English and in French. We felt like we met them as strangers and left them as friends.

Martine and Jean Pierre have a lovely home and their two dogs are wonderful. We were warmly greeted and spent our first evening in their company as well as having time to go out for dinner upon their return. We very much enjoyed meeting them. We had a great experience and enjoyed spending time away from the hustle and bustle of Paris while having a direct connection by train to explore further afield. There is a boulangerie in the old village only a short walk away. Groceries and other amenities are only a twenty minute walk or catch the bus that runs there at the end of the street. The home is very comfortable and has all the amenities including a guest bedroom and bathroom that can be closed off from the rest of the house for privacy. I would not hesitate to recommend this house sit.

Nous avons été fort bien accueillis par Martine et Jean-Pierre, leur confortable maison est située dans un environnement calme et verdoyant. Leurs consignes étaient claires et faciles à suivre. Notre séjour chez eux a été très agréable et nous occuper de Sita, petite chatte espiègle et câline , fut source de joie et d'amusement. Nous voudrions recommander nos hôtes pour tout qui aime les animaux ainsi que la nature à proximité de la ville.

It was a pleasure to meet Martine and Jean-Pierre. Their house is so big and comfortable and the garden makes you feel like your on vacation. The house is about an hour away from Paris city center (by car). I could use Martines car during my stay. The dogs are gorgeous. The lab is quite uncomplicated. The little girl is often very anxios and needs time to trust an unknown person. But if you give her time, she comes by herself and wants to cuddle. All in all, it was a great experience and I would love to come back! Thanks so much!
