Karen and Ray are the perfect house sitters, especially if you have pets! They are both really friendly and super easy to get along with, as well as being extremely thoughtful and conscientious about how things work in our home and with our three cats. One of our cats needed some medicine each day which they took care of like pro’s and each cat was looked after like an individual. To be honest I don’t think our cats even missed us, which is exactly what we are looking for when we have to travel. When we arrived back at the apartment after two weeks away, we found 3 very happy cats and the house way cleaner than we had left it! Ray even gave us a call the next day to have a chat about the cats and make sure we were happy with everything. Thank you for everything and we would love to have you back sometime, as house-sitters or guests!

Karen and Ray took care of my house and cats last weekend and I think they are the best house-sitters you can ask for. When they arrived for the key handover they were very interested in how I like my cats to be taken car of, wanting to match my parenthood style. They left the house absolutely spotless and and kept me informed the way I requested. I highly recommend this couple as house-sitters!

We had a fantastic experience with Karen and Ray. If we could pick more than 3 badges, we would. They were very prompt with their intentions and communication. Well organised and took all the stress away from us being away from our dogs. Karen and Ray were invested in our location and our dogs and we suspect the dogs probably got more attention from them than us. They kept us informed on a basis that was determined by us but were more than happy to adapt if we wanted more or less. They were conscientious, making sure everything was clean, tidy and replaced when we returned, and more than anything - they were an awesome couple to spend some time with. We highly recommend! This was our first house sitting experience and Karen and Ray set a very high bar. We received weekly emails, not because they felt obligated, but because they wanted to share their experience. We didn't have any pets, just house plants which were watered and cared for perfectly including some disease and insect problems. We returned to a clean home, with freshly washed towels and sheets, several meals, fruits and vegetables waiting for us. They left us notes with status about food, propane, plant watering and feeding, restaurants they liked and some suggestions for future house sitters. Besides house sitting we've established a wonderful friendship with like-minded people.
