Hello, I am a solo traveller, interested in exploring new countries and if I can make some new 4 legged friends along the way, that would be perfect! I have a genuine love of animals. So much so that I left a career in graphic design to start my own tiny business in NYC. I enjoyed doing my best to provide friendly, courteous and caring service for each customer and their pet. I have years of experience caring for many breeds and temperaments from the smiling Laradoodle who just wants to be buddies to the aloof British Shorthair who secretly wants tons of cuddles.

My professional experience includes caring for dogs, cats and some birds with certification in animal first aid & CPR. As a pet care provider, I was personally responsible for securely handling home and apartment keys for 50+ customers, providing honest and reliable service.

Currently looking to do some longer term traveling. I'm easy going, a level headed, respectful of other's beliefs and opinions. I prefer compromise and simplicity in life. I avoid people who take advantage of others. Life is too short to be a jerk. Be a decent person, be honest (don't tell someone their kid is ugly, but you know....) and be mindful. Also, not looking for anyone who thinks that a house/pet sitting situation is one-sided. It should be fair.
So-
-a house with pets is preferable, but not necessary
-non smoker, though it doesn't bother me when other people smoke
-a small selection of restaurants, cafes or pubs within walking distance would be nice
-a coffee anything would be nice
-I prefer not to drive. Available public transport is preferred. If basic amenities are available within walking distance, that's perfect.
-more interested in getting to know a specific town or region than running around trying to see every sight in the city.
-bugs and rodents due to a dirty living condition would not be a good fit. I'm admittedly phobic about bugs, though I understand everyone has the occasional critter wander thru.
I respect people's space and I ask for the same in return. On the plus side, my phobia has led me to be very clean and tidy!

Traveling by means of house sitting seems like a great way to explore yet to have a bit of grounding or familiarity. I'd like the opportunity to build new friendships and maintain a level of responsibility while enjoying new surroundings, traditions, ways of life. Caring for animals is my specialty and preference, but I'm open to house sitting without animals to care f
