Phil

I couldn't have asked for nicer and more welcoming hosts than Theresa and Phil. In the weeks prior to this sit I was doing another sit in the region, and they both drove over several times to take me places and also to take me back to their house for lunch and to meet the animals -- and Phil took me for a trek up Pen y Fan, the third-highest peak in the UK, which was a thrill, regardless of the snow and howling wind (which of course made it even better!). I even joined them at a family Christmas get-together. They really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and I really enjoyed getting to know them (and Theresa is a wonderful cook!). I feel like I have like-minded new friends. The house is very comfortable and pleasant to live in, and Theresa and Phil are so welcoming I felt very much at home. Holly the dog is a sweetheart, very well behaved and responsive to voice commands, and very energetic! She really loves a good walk and to play fetch in a large field. Gizmo the cat I fell in love with -- he's such a purr-monster! He's very independent but also loves getting lots of love. In all, this was the nicest and most enjoyable house sit I've ever done.
