Hello, we are a married couple in our 50's. Here is a little bit of info about the two of us. I started my working life as a Bank Clerk. I worked for Barclays Bank for 12 years. Then we had children. After a few years of being a mum to our 2 boys, I began my own business making curtains and soft furnishings. My Husband Andy has been in sales for most of his Career, and then in 2013 we decided that we would try something different. We spent 5 years running our own restaurant, It was hard work but great fun. Now that the boys have grown up & left home and we have retired to France, we are ready for a new adventure. We are very resourceful, love cats and dogs and both enjoy our garden. We are looking forward to meeting lots of new friends and experiencing life in other parts of the world.

Ruth and Andy are nice people, from the moment we met them we knew our house and animals were in safe hands. Andy was good enough to use our tractor to mow down to the lake, much appreciated! They seemed to make the most of local shops and markets. The animals were all fit and healthy on our return, and Joop the dog misses them already!
