As a couple/duo
We are a couple in our sixties, living in North Essex who love travelling around France, Belgium, Germany and nearby European countries.
Paulene is a retired Sports Therapist and Martin is a local government Town Planner.
We have over the years had many pets of our own, cats and dogs, large and small. At present we don't have any animals and love the chance to 'borrow' some for our holiday.
We both love football and enjoy going to games at all levels.
We always holiday self catering due to some serious food intolerances, so if you have a working kitchen we're happy.
We like meeting people and are still trying very hard to learn to speak French. Staying in a house is brilliant for us as we don't need the bars and party atmosphere available on campsites. or in city centres. Although we aren't completely antisocial and appreciate some tourist sites, art galleries, museums etc to visit and a bar for lunch or coffee.
Paulene suffers with severe asthma and a more peaceful life is ideal.

Contact with Paulene was easy and efficient before and during their stay at our home. Our dog was out for playtime and walks all the time, as the neighbors have pointed out. And what a pleasure to get back to a perfectly clean and tidied home, and a nice card with thoughtful gifts from Paulene and her husband. This makes a wonderful first experience with house-sitting and we would recommend them anytime.
