? Hospitality / Communication Communicating with Amandine was always a pleasurable and easy experience. Everything we talked about prior to our stay was very clear and helpful. We felt like we had all the information about Danka and Simba, as well as the house, before we arrived. On arrival Amandine took extra care to answer all of our questions and shared some more valuable information about the region, the house and the animals' routines. During our stay she was easy to reach via Whatsapp and we felt like we could have given her a call anytime. Amandine speaks really good English (and French obviously). ? The Home itself The pictures don’t lie. Amandine’s home is a gem, filled with coziness and thoughtful details. We loved the placement of the house in the countryside and really felt like home in no time. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and the living room with the large windows is great place to work from during the day and to enjoy the evenings together. The stars are amazing at night, because there is little to no light pollution in this area. Overall the house is easy to keep clean, even with the longhaired animals and we would feel lucky to come back here one day. ? The Animals Danka: With his 11years of age (as of writing this) Danka still shows some playfulness and seems satisfied with the attention strangers give him. Walks didn’t need to be long for him to be happy and do his business, even though we could feel that he was missing Amandine and wouldn’t be too excited to leave the house for too long. He was always friendly with us and did well when meeting others on walks. Simba: Just loves best who ever provides him with food and loving attention. He’s such an easy cat to be around and we would totally steal him. But we didn’t. He does his thing. Tells you when he needs attention, food or his litter box cleaned. He’s a great communicator. ? The Area The area surrounding Amandine’s place is breathtaking and invited us to explore. We went for runs, walks and practiced Skitouring not too far from her place. Annecy is just a quick trip away and is certainly worth visiting. We had so much cheese and enjoyed a self-made tour of the city. Even Geneva is merely a 55min drive away and is good for a day trip. Having a car is favorable to run errands or explore. ? The Bottomline We can highly recommend this house-sit to mountain and nature loving people who don’t need the city right at their doors

La maison d Amandine est agréable. J ai passé une bonne semaine avec son chat Simba et Danka. Petite réserve :que de poil! Belles balades dans la région. Pas eu beaucoup de contact avec Amandine, J attendais un p tit coucou à son retour....

Amandine nous a réservé un accueil très aimable et spontané. Son joli chalet, lumineux, décoré avec goût, offre un confort haut de gamme. Le chat et le chien font bon ménage et ne posent pas de problème particulier. Entre lac du Bourget et lac d'Annecy, la région est superbe. Le sommet du Mont blanc est parfois visible depuis la maison. Nous recommandons l'offre d'Amandine. Phidan

Amandine est une personne accueillante, sportive et remplie de talents. Son chalet aménagé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût nous a comblé. Danka et Simba sont des animaux adorables, qui se sont habitués à nous sans aucune difficulté. Nous n'oublierons pas non plus la tartiflette préparée par Amandine pour notre arrivée : "une tuerie" ! Ce séjour a été des plus agréable, et nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre passage à Menthonnex. Merci Amandine.
