As explained earlier, we have 2 lovely sister cats that are fed by my brother who also lives here, but I also feed them in the mornings so would ask you to do the same, and as one of them spends a lot of time in the house, it's essential that you have a good rapport and understanding of cats, as she appreciates a play and/or cuddle from time to time! Apart from the cats, I just expect the house to be kept in a reasonably clean & tidy state and to message me if there are any issues that might need my attention whilst I'm away.

Hello, I am offering a housesit for 4 weeks from 3-30th March whilst I'm abroad.
I have a small, comfortable house in Walthamstow, North-East London. Your room would be a small double measuring approx 8m2 and has a nice view over garden, allotments and reservoir beyond, with great sunsets!
You will have almost the entire house to yourself, which includes your room plus all of the downstairs area comprising of good-sized lounge, kitchen/diner and utility/bathroom/toilet, plus the garden of course for drying your laundry and enjoying the (intermittent) sunshine on the decking outside.
There is one existing (male) tenant who stays in a large self-contained studio room, so he would only be sharing the entrance and stairs. He is very quiet and friendly and goes to work quite early Monday-Friday. He has use of the washing machine once a week at weekends, but other than that is completely independent.
My brother stays in a cabin at the end of the garden. He has a separate entrance so is also independent, only coming in to use the washing machine at weekends as he works full time too. He is also a friendly guy and feeds/takes care of the cats (2 lovely sisters) when …

Having said that, I'm looking for someone who's cat friendly, as they spend a lot of time in the house, enjoying the central heating, especially Tamsin who likes to have warm baths on top of the radiator, and enjoys a bit of playing and a cuddle from time to time! I also need someone who respects that this is a quiet house where we try to keep noise right down after 11pm.
Transport links for the house are good, with regular buses (or 12 min walk) to Victoria line zone 3 (about 30 mins to central London) or St James St overground (15 mins to Liverpool St). This is a nice area for walks/bike rides in the nearby Walthamstow Wetlands nature reserve.

Laurence is a friendly, cat-owning, nature-loving, health-conscious host who cares about his guests. The house is next to Walthamstow Wetlands, Europe’s largest urban wetland nature reserve. His cat Tomsin is a little wild in the morning :) but after a good dose of love she is so funny!
